The Brethren of Mount Olive supply and share lunch for the residents of the Cardin Home Infirmary every December on the Sunday closet to the birthday of Bro. James Cardin, who was the agitator for the construction of the facility in 1927.
The Cardin Home houses approximately 80 persons between 19 and 99 years old and have different physical and mental disorders including diabetes, hypertension, schizophrenia, and heart disease.
Every year the Brethren of Mount Olive team up with the Rotary Club of St. Kitts to facilitate free prostate screening on St. Kitts. The event has grown in in size and acceptance of the years with the most recent edition attracting over 200 men.
As a fraternity, Mount Olive takes the need for prostate cancer awareness very seriously.
